1 Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”
My granddaughter is almost 18 months old. She is really growing up quickly. She learns new words every day. It is amazing to watch her grow. Recently, she started pointed to her mom’s phone and saying “Bebe” (her name for me). My daughter used Facetime to let her speak with me. Even though she lives nearby, I will use Facetime to visit with her before she goes to bed. It is wonderful to spend those few minutes with her. It just thrills my heart. Last night, she wanted to Facetime me but I was busy and had to miss out. I wanted to cry at the missed opportunity.
How often I wish I could Facetime with Jesus. How I long to just spend some time visiting with Him face to face. It would thrill my heart just like the time with my granddaughter. Moses spent time face to face with God as seen in Exodus 33:11 “The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.” How amazing it must have been! However, until I meet my Savior in person, I can seek Him in prayer daily. A beautiful verse shows us God wants to spend time with us daily also, Psalms 27:8 “My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” Lord, I am coming to spend time with you today and every day. I will come into your Holy presence each day in prayer as my Facetime with you.
May the Lord Bless you and keep.
Yvonne
