Exodus 35:33 “He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft.”
The world holds master artisans in high esteem. This was true throughout history as the verse about shows. At each of our orphanages, we like to help our children develop their craft making skills. Most schools in Myanmar, Nepal and Sierra Leone do not have the funds to buy the supplies needed to teach arts. We think it is an important skill to develop. Below, you will see some photos of the items created by the children.
Once a year, we set up a table at a craft fair to sell these special pieces as a fundraiser to continue the work of the Lord at our orphanages. This year we will have a booth at Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City on November 14 to sell these beautiful crafts. This is a major fundraiser for our organization. We are also thinking of offering some of these items for sale on our website in the near future for those that cannot attend the fair. Stay tuned.
Alternatively, if you are interested in collaborating with us in Christ’s work to the orphans, please visit our website to donate.
